You’ve written a book. What happens next?

Whether it’s fiction, non-fiction or something else, if you’re publishing your book independently your next step is to put your work into a form that will attract and impress your readers. You also need to ensure it’s formatted in a way that’s compatible with independent-publishing services like Amazon, Lulu, and more.

While those services offer tools that allow you to “do it yourself,” most authors find those tools to be confusing and difficult to manage. And often they’re not impressed with the results.

Why not let an experienced professional take that headache away? I’ve offered book design and book formatting services as part of my portfolio since 2012, and have recently worked in “book rescue,” in which an author retrieves their work from a publisher and needs it re-formatted from a less-than-perfect PDF or Word original. I combine Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, MS Word and Scrivener for best results, and generate attractive works in print, Kindle and ePub formats at reasonable rates.
