Preserving your style, making it better

My goal as your editor is to preserve your unique voice and style, while offering recommendations for error correction and clarity. I work on items of all lengths — from article to book — and I offer three levels of editing:

Developmental Editing: Offering recommendations for restructuring, rewrites, or elimination of sections that simply do not work. The highest level of editing.

Copyediting: The good old-fashioned line edit, looking for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation and more. The middle level of editing.

Proofreading: Finding and eliminating errors in an otherwise ready-to-publish work. Requires sharp eyes, caffeine, and a highlighter. The simplest level of editing.
